Memorandum and Articles of Association and Rules of Paying Membership of the Hunstanton Society

Following a Special General Meeting held on 1st July 2020 of the original Unincorporated Charitable Society called 'Hunstanton & District Civic Society', the original Society was dissolved and all assets transferred to a new Company limited by Guarantee not having Share Capital, also called 'Hunstanton & District Civic Society' registered with the Charity Commission on 30th July 2020. This replaced the Unincorporated Charity that was formed in 2003 and which on 12th August 2020 was wound up with all assets and liabilities transferred to the new Company.
Then on 14th December 2022 at an Extraordinary General Meeting of the Society immediately following the AGM, resolutions were passed to change the name of the Society to Hunstanton Society. In addition, an extra object was added to the Articles of Association to enable the Society to apply for 'Working towards Museum Accreditation'.
